SmartSynch’s Managed Services deliverables option is a full-service application solution that hosts the Transaction Management System™ (TMS), processes all metering data and provides customizable data files to the client via FTP transfer on a scheduled basis.

The Managed Services solution includes the daily operations and 24/7 maintenance of the TMS dedicated server, as well as the delivery and routine backup of all meter data by SmartSynch staff. The hosted and operated TMS software collects meter data wirelessly from every SmartMeter deployed in the field. SmartSynch then sends daily data files to the utility in addition to providing power outage and restoration notifications and other specified alarms. This service option offers an easy, low-cost entry into the SmartSynch solution. Customers may choose to continue using the Managed Services option or transfer the devices to their own TMS application running in-house. As part of the Managed Services option, the TMS software and server are hosted at an off-site, state-of-the-art Network Operations Center (NOC).
