Industry Veteran to Lead SmartSynch Operations

New Chief Operating Officer Brings 25 Years of Experience

SmartSynch, the leading provider of smart metering solutions to the energy and utility industry, has named Dale R. Pilger as Chief Operating Officer. Pilger is a seasoned industry executive with global experience developing and executing business strategies for diverse high tech companies and maximizing results achieved in those operations. He will be responsible for managing all elements of the business, including P&L, production, quality, promotion and delivery aspects of the company's products and services.

Before joining SmartSynch, Pilger served as General Director of Global Sales, marketing and planning for Delphi Interior Systems, a division of Delphi Automotive Corporation, with accountability for $2 billion in sales, and was also executive in charge of a $600 million business segment within that division, responsible for more than 2,000 employees and seven manufacturing locations worldwide. Earlier, he also served as Regional Director for Asia Pacific Operations of Delphi Energy and Engine Management Systems. Prior to that assignment, he was Managing Director of General Motors Kenya, where he achieved record profits and sales during the worst economic period in recent East African history. Pilger gained early and extensive experience in the electrical / electronic industry during his tenure with Delphi Packard Electric, where he served in various roles, including Chief Engineer, Power and Signal Distribution Systems. Pilger has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University in Flint, MI, and a Master of Science degree in Management from MIT's Sloan School of Management.

Pilger's appointment is a result of the significant growth SmartSynch has experienced in the past year.
