John Feltis Joins SmartSynch as VP of Canadian Subsidiary

SmartSynch Opens Ontario Office

Toronto, ON — December 15, 2005

SmartSynch, a global leader in wireless smart metering technology for the energy industry, has named John Feltis as vice president of SmartSynch, Ltd., the company’s Canadian subsidiary.

Feltis brings over 20 years of industry experience to SmartSynch, holding metering and management positions within several of Ontario’s Local Distribution Companies (LDCs) prior to embarking on a successful career working with many of the province’s LDCs. He comes to SmartSynch from The SPi Group in Toronto, Ontario, where he served as Managing Director of Sales.

SmartSynch was founded in 1998 in Calgary, Alberta and has recently experienced substantial growth in its Canadian business, serving ten LDCs while winning a 25,000 smart meter pilot at Hydro One. Presently, SmartSynch’s Canadian customers include: Enersource, Erie Thames, Essex Power, Hydro One, PowerStream, St. Thomas, Toronto Hydro, West Perth, Woodstock Hydro, and Veridian.
