Danny Shirley joined SmartSynch in January of 2006 as Vice President of Sales and is responsible for the oversight of all SmartSynch sales activities.

Mr. Shirley began his career in 1982 as head of Sales for Datamatic, a systems integrator designing Hand Held Meter Reading systems for the Utility Industry. In 1989, he joined Itron as Vice President of Business Development for the emerging Genesis Systems of AMR. Mr. Shirley then went on to Metricom in 1993 as Vice President of Sales and introduced the Utilinet and Ricochet technologies to the Utility Industry for applications including Advanced Metering and Distribution Automation. Before joining SmartSynch, Mr. Shirley was a founder and Executive Vice President of Diverse Networks, Inc., a Professional Services company focused on Wireless Network Design and Operations in the Energy and Utility Markets.

Mr. Shirley is a graduate of Abilene Christian University with a BS degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
