Mike Dempsey joined SmartSynch in November 2007 as Senior Vice President of Product Delivery. He is responsible for leading the company's product development and engineering initiatives.

 Mr. Dempsey brings more than sixteen years of experience to SmartSynch, having previously served as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer for Diversified Technology, Inc. He started his career with DTI in 1991, developing BIOS source code in the Software Engineering department. After joining the Hardware Engineering group, he led DTI's initial EISA and PCI design efforts. Upon becoming Hardware Design Manager, he spent five years guiding the development of DTI's core products, including multi-processing platforms for the telecommunications industry.

 As DTI’s Vice President of Engineering, and later Vice President of Technology / CTO, Mr. Dempsey was in charge of plotting DTI's technology course as the company moved into new and expanding markets. In his latest role as Senior Vice President of Engineering / CTO, he oversaw project management processes aimed at reducing design cycle time and improving product quality.

Mr. Dempsey graduated from Mississippi State University in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in digital design.
